Assess briefly based on general appearance and behavior [B]
Is person unstable or dangerous to self or others, or in need of urgent medical or surgical attention? [C] Provide appropriate care or refer to stabilize. Follow legal mandates
Immediate Needs: Survival, safety, security, food, shelter, sleep, medical care (first aid), mental health triage, orientation, communication with family, firends and community

Excessive arousal, dissociation, confusion/disorientation, or impaired function?
Assess medical and functional status [D] Acute Inteventions:  Acute symptoms management, Education & normalization; Social & spiritual support; Consider Medication.
